1 Dylan Edwards – 7.5
More than justified his selection over James Tedesco with another five-star team-first performance. Rewarded for his non-stop effort with the match-clinching try.
2 Brian To’o – 7.5
Controversially sin-binned but still had an enormous impact with his charges out of yardage, finishing with 21 runs for 200m.

3 Stephen Crichton – 8
Absolute handful with some huge plays in attack and defence. Confirmed his status as the game’s best centre.
4 Latrell Mitchell – 7.5
Moments of brilliance including the phenomenal catch and pass to put To’o over.
5 Zac Lomax – 8
Couldn’t have done his job any better. Always a threat in the air, bagged a double and worked himself to a standstill with 22 runs for 177.
6 Mitchell Moses – 6.5
Solid if not spectacular. Combined well with Cleary and the combination will only get better in game two.

7 Nathan Cleary – 7.5
Not his most dominant performance but still did a good job directing the Blues to a comprehensive victory. Never stopped probing, kicked well but had an off night with his goal kicking.
8 Mitch Barnett – 7
Was enormous in his opening spell to help the Blues get on the front foot early.
9 Reece Robson – 7
Nothing fancy but gave good service from dummy half and tireless in defence, equal top of the Blues’ tackle count (38).
10 Payne Haas – 8.5
So big, so powerful and what an engine. Laid the platform for the Blues with a performance that was worthy of man-of-the-match.
11 Liam Martin – 7
Tough as nails and equal top of the tackle count.
12 Angus Crichton – 7.5
Always stands up in the big games. Hard to handle and clocked up 17 runs for 124m

13 Isaah Yeo – 8.5
A memorable captain’s knock from the unassuming champion lock. Powerful with every carry neck-and-neck with Haas for best on ground.
14 Connor Watson – 7
Didn’t get a lot of game time but made his presence felt with a big play to put Edwards over for the try that put Queensland to bed.
15 Spencer Leniu – 6.5
Went into the match as public enemy No 1 but kept his head and did his job.
16 Hudson Young – 6
Came on late in the middle and made an immediate impact. Probably wishes he didn’t push that pass that led to a turnover.
17 Max King – 7
Rock solid debut doing exactly what he was selected to do. Got good minutes and will be back for game two.
